[hide]Synopsis[edit]
- "In the opening, Homer wins an oyster-eating contest against the mythical Cthulhu. In "Intrusion of the Pod-Y Switchers", Springfield is overrun by plant body-snatchers who want to make the world better. In "Multiplisa-ty", Lisa finally snaps and starts killing people. Finally, in "Geriatric Park", Mr. Burns opens a retirement home where residents have dinosaur DNA injected into them."
Plot[edit]
Opening sequence[edit]
At the Oyster-Eating Contest at Fogburyport, the Simpson family takes part in it, only to discover that it's a ruse to get sacrifices for Cthulhu. As Cthulhu is about to eat Homer, he challenges him to an eating contest. However, against all odds, Cthulhu loses and offers Homer any wish. Homer wishes to eat him, and so the family does. When Homer pokes his ink sac, the Treehouse of Horror XXIX logo appears.
Intrusion of the Pod-Y Switchers[edit]
In the underwater Mapple Computer Underwater Lair, Steve Mobbs introduces his successor and the MyPhone Ultima, but his successor turns out to be an alien preparing for an invasion.
Spores are sent from the alien's home planet, replacing the Springfielders with copies of themselves, including Comic Book Guy, Marge, and Wiggum. Bart and Lisa try to escape with Lou in a police car but fail.
Lisa is brought to the alien world, which turns out to be a utopian society. She is welcomed by Xylem and Phloem, and finds herself in what humans call the Crab Nebula. However, not everything is as fabulous as it seems, as Herb Tannenbaum gives people phones in this world too.
Multiplisa-ty[edit]
After a sleepover at Milhouse's, Milhouse, Nelson, and Bart find themselves in a cell, suddenly freed by Penelope—the one who trapped them there. Penelope, who is actually Lisa acting strangely in a multi-personality manner, behaves erratically and locks them in again after they don't applaud her performance.
Things get weirder at the Simpson House, where Lisa covers up Bart's disappearance with more odd behavior. The kids try to escape using Milhouse's head as a battering ram, just before Scottish Lisa appears and invites them to face the beast, after it is revealed she killed Willie with an axe.
Lisa attacks and kills Milhouse and Nelson before Bart asks what happened to her. Lisa explains: Bart took her spelling test, changed her answers, mocked Miss Hoover, and caused her to get an F.
Lisa briefly regains control and gives Bart one last chance to save himself. He redeems himself, narrowly avoiding being killed by falling trash, while Milhouse is transformed into a "paper boy".
Geriatric Park[edit]
- Geriatric Park redirects here. For the location, see Geriatric Park (location). For the song, see Geriatric Park (song).
Mr. Burns creates Geriatric Park, a park filled with elders rejuvenated by mixing their DNA with dinosaur DNA. He brings Springfielders to the park to show them the new "retirement home."
At first, they remain human, healthy, and feel young again, with incredible strength. But once Homer raises the temperature after Grampa complains it's too cold, they transform into dinosaur-like creatures.
Visitors are killed by the elders, while the family is threatened by Grampa and Jacqueline Bouvier. Lisa courageously confronts Grampa and discovers they all just need to be cherished and respected. In the end, the family escapes alive, though their helicopter is being flown by pterodactyl Agnes.
